Foundation A

We are once again almost at the end of the term, in what has been a quite different kind of school year. Despite all the challenges, the children have continued to grow and learn. It has been quite inspiring to watch them learn how to ‘Zoom’. We have some up and coming tech experts in Foundation A.

Zoom has provided an excellent chance for the children to use words to communicate. It is a medium where telling is much more efficient than showing. Some of the children that were quite shy and reluctant to speak have begun to shine, sharing with enthusiasm. Others have begun finding new ways to share their learning with technology, drawing on the screen with confidence and even creating their own video presentations.

I know that we are all looking forward to being allowed back to school next term. It is exciting and will be another change and adjustment for the children. I have every certainty that they will adapt quickly; resilience is another of those skills that we have all practiced this year.

Thankyou once again to all the Foundation A Parents for your support and hard work. Your children have benefited enormously from your efforts. Thank you also to my lovely students that have come to Zoom every day with a smile. I am excited to see you all soon.

Have a wonderful holiday.
